Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of complex litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses
• Appearing in court hearings and trials
• Negotiating and settling cases on behalf of clients
• Managing a caseload and ensuring deadlines are met
• Providing legal advice and guidance to clients
• Collaborating with other lawyers and staff members to provide high-quality legal services

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited law school with strong academic results
• At least three to five years of experience in commercial litigation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of the law
• Excellent legal research skills including use of online tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
