Raumanu attained her Bachelor of Laws degree and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of the South Pacific in September 2010. She was admitted to the High Court of Fiji in February 2011. She joined the Howard’s litigation/commercial team in March 2022 and is currently practicing in the areas of civil and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Howards Lawyers, Raumanu spent 11 years at the Office of the Attorney-General with experience in international law, commercial law, policy development, legal/legislative drafting with a proven track record in civil advocacy, policy development and project management, contracts and procurement, compliance and risk management, policy-based loans and negotiations, equity conversion, asset security, debt management and recovery while managing an active litigation caseload covering different Government ministries, departments and statutory bodies in all tiers of court in the civil jurisdiction in Fiji.
Career highlights include being selected for the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to study in the United States of America and obtaining a Masters in Diplomacy and Military Studies, representing the Government of Fiji in 2016 as the COP23 Liaison Officer in Bonn, Germany and then going on to becoming the Chief of Staff for the Chief Negotiator. Raumanu has also represented Fiji at various international negotiations (climate change, international trade law and loan negotiations) and conferences.
