Job Description:

We are seeking a accounts clerk to join our firm. The ideal candidate will have at least two to three years of experience in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and finalizing of invoices
  • Receipting and handling of Trust Account payments
  • Maintaining Petty Cash
  • Assisting of VAT Returns
  • Payments to Suppliers
  • Assisting in End of Year Accounts
  • Debt Collections
  • Archiving of files and maintaining records for completed client matters in Practice Evolve (PE)
  • Delivering of correspondence and documents.
  • Banking and payments of bills as and when required.
  • Provide other general office assistance to support staff of Howards.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting
  • Diploma in Accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
