Raumanu was admitted to the High Court of Fiji in 2011 after completing her Bachelor of Laws and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of the South Pacific. She is a Fulbright scholar where she earned a Master’s in Diplomacy and Military Studies. She joined Howard’s commercial and litigation team in 2022 and brings over 15 years of legal experience.
Her current practice spans civil and commercial litigation, with expertise in corporate governance and restructuring, foreign investment and corporate structuring, finance and security documentation, due diligence and compliance, contracts and procurement, estate planning (including wills and trusts), as well as handling property transactions involving corporate and commercial dealings. She also advises on competition law, company incorporations and acquisitions, employment matters, and intellectual property protection including trademarks.
Before joining Howards Lawyers, Raumanu spent 11 years at the Office of the Attorney-General, advising on international law, commercial law, policy development, and legislative drafting while managing complex litigation across all tiers of court. She has represented Fiji international, including as the COP23 Liaison Officer in Bonn, Germany and later becoming the Chief of Staff for the Chief Negotiator. Apart from this she has represented Fiji at negotiations on climate change, trade law, loan agreements and conferences.
