Job Description:

Because it is a Commercial Lawyer position, you will need at least five years of expertise in various commercial areas, such as commercial contracts, intellectual property, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and general legal advisory.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on a broad spectrum of commercial matters
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and deeds
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations
• Assist in mergers and acquisitions, conducting due diligence and drafting transactional documents
• Provide guidance on intellectual property matters
• Handle conveyancing matters, including the purchase, sale, and leasing of commercial property
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and staff members to deliver high-quality legal services

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited law school with strong academic performance
• Minimum of five years of experience as a commercial lawyer
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of the law
• Proficient in legal research using online tools
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Capacity to handle a high volume of matters and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
